Like a lot of women, Vi has suffered through a lot of heartache and hardship. It was those times that brought her to a deep love of romance novels (thank you, Jane Austen!) as a way of escape. When she started running out of the things she loves to read (what?!?), she started writing her own stories.

Vi lives in the SW desert of the United States with her alpha soul mate (no he doesn't shift, dang it), eleven dogs, four cats, and a backyard full of chickens. That's just at the house--they also have cows, donkeys, goats and sheep.
